You do not need to have someone lay hands on you or pray for you. You can come to the Lord yourself by saying a prayer right now. He is waiting on you to open the door as he is knocking on your heart. Open that door right now! It will be the best Choice you have ever made for your life.
Talk to the Lord and tell him that you Believe that he is Jesus, the son of GOD, and that he came to die on the cross and save us from separation with GOD. Know that he loves you and is waiting on you to decide to come to him just as you are. Recognize that you are in need of a savior. Someone to help you and love you. Tell him you are sorry for your sins, (repent) and ask him to come into your life, and HE will help you to become more like him.
The Christian walk is a journey or process to become like Jesus in character and spirit. Not by our might but by His. The Holy Spirit will come to you and help you to grow and be comforted in this world.
Your faith will set you free. It is your contrite, sorrowful heart for your brokenness, and your faith that our lord will save you, that puts you back into a state of reconciliation with GOD.
